Cynthia is a native of Switzerland and immigrated to the U.S. in 1998. She is currently a resident
of Florida, where she has built an impressive professional resume. Her career began in the
banking industry as a teller. She worked in various roles and learned every aspect of the banking
industry. Because of her impeccable integrity, customer service skills, and natural leadership
abilities, she moved into management. She eventually earned the role as a Branch Manager and
Vice President with a credit union, where she grew the business by 15% year-over-year and
ranked as a top-performing branch.
Eventually, she was attracted to the construction industry as a field manager, where she could
excel with her strong background in sales, customer service, and financial acumen. She was
responsible for managing residential home building progress across multiple job sites. Cynthia
excelled in her role, demonstrating her innovative and organized approach to her work. It was in
this role that she was attracted to Cohen Construction.
Cynthia is a mother of two and enjoys all types of water activities, including boating and fishing.

Jason Grannis. With over a decade of experience in the construction and multi-family industry,
Jason is responsible for sourcing subcontractors, processing sub-payments on all contract work,
processing agreements, and purchasing materials. Through his extensive expertise, Jason
understands the intricacies of the business, stays focused on details of a multitude of projects,
and keeps things on track. He also adds another layer of excellence through his exceptional
knowledge of technology, handling all aspects of IT for Cohen Construction.
Jason is a native of Michigan and a longtime resident of Florida. He began his professional
career framing houses through high school and college while studying business at Washtenaw
Community College. He continued his career in construction and took on the additional
responsibilities as a paid firefighter, where he rose to the rank of lieutenant.
Jason ultimately relocated to Florida, where he worked as a facilities director for multi-family
properties. In this role he excelled, learning every aspect of the business, building relationships,
and taking on the toughest challenges. Ultimately, he found his calling with Cohen Construction,
where he started as a project manager and has worked his way up to his current role.
In his free time, Jason has supported his local community through charity work, most notably
with the Children’s Burn Foundation.
Jason is a loving husband and father of a grown son, along with his cat Voodoo. He is a
passionate and dedicated Harley rider and enthusiast.
As the Assistant Purchaser for Cohen Construction, Lindsey Coolidge leverages over a decade of
experience in the construction supply industry, managing vendor contacts, competitively
negotiating best pricing, and ensuring supplies are available to keep projects moving through
completion. She is highly organized and prides herself on being a creative problem solver,
finding success amid the most challenging situations. Lindsey works directly with her internal
customers and has built strong relationships through trust and a strong work ethic.
Lindsey is a native and longtime resident of Orlando, Florida. She completed her bachelor’s
degree in interior design at Florida State University, where she graduated with honors. Her
professional career was on track through college, as she interned with interior design firms in the
area. However, the financial crisis of 2008 impacted the industry and forced her to seek a
different path.
Because of her design exposure, she discovered an interest in construction and found a new
career path with Home Depot. Once she started with them, she knew she had found a home. With
Home Depot, she built a strong resume of success and worked her way up through various
positions, building a solid foundation for her to take on the role of Pro Account Representative.
It was in this role that she learned every aspect of construction materials management and
business development. This is where she came into her own and developed a strong reputation
for success and a keen ability to solve problems. Ultimately, this is where she connected with
Cohen Construction.
Lindsey is committed to giving back to the community through her work with Wounded
Warriors and volunteer work with various retirement homes.
In her free time, she is a loving wife and devoted mother of two children. She enjoys
international travel, art, drawing, and painting.

Calvert. As the Director of Construction for Cohen Construction, Obadiah leverages over two
decades of construction experience and expertise to ensure every job exceeds quality standards
of the organization and client expectations. His responsibilities include business development,
client relationships, project management, oversight of jobs, and subcontractor performance. He
gets inspiration from completing projects to an exacting quality standard and seeing clients
completely satisfied.
Obadiah is a native of Pittsburgh and a longtime resident of Florida. He began his professional
career working with his brother, working in every role and learning every aspect of the business.
He demonstrated an eye for detail and a tireless work ethic early on. As he gained experience, he
founded two separate construction companies and found success with each. Ultimately he
transitioned his career working for a major national construction company, where he worked in a
variety of roles, such as project manager, director of construction, and vice president of
construction.
Through these roles, he built his expertise as a manager and leader, along with honing his
executive leadership skills and business development acumen. He built long-lasting relationships
in multi-family construction with owners and investors. Because of his proven track record of
success, Obadiah ultimately took on the role of executive vice president of construction with a
national company. Through his expertise and reputation in the industry, he connected with
Cohen Construction and transitioned into his current role.
Obadiah lives in Lake Mary, Florida, and is a father of two and a dedicated family man. He
enjoys beach time, hunting, fishing, golf, and quality time with the family.

often used to describe Amber Cohen. As the Managing Director and co-owner of Cohen
Construction, Amber leverages over 15 years of sales and leadership experience in the real estate
industry to lead all operational and creative aspects of the business. She has built a reputation as
a detail-oriented and organized leader who puts the people first in every decision. Amber takes
on all administrative and operational challenges of the business, along with creative decisions in
the design aspect of the company.
In addition, she takes the lead on real estate investments, managing the day-to-day details of
property transactions. From start to finish, Amber is connected to details and handles the most
complex challenges they face. Because of her proven track record of success, Amber has earned
the respect of clients and peers alike.
Amber is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and a lifelong resident of Florida. She was raised in a
real estate family, with both parents owning and managing two brokerages. This meant Amber
learned every aspect of the real estate industry from a very early age. She developed a passion
for the industry, helping families and mastering the skills of being an entrepreneur. She became a
licensed real estate agent in 2004 and began managing a real estate office in 2006. Amber
quickly discovered her natural abilities of leadership and creative design.
It was in 2011 when she met Dan Cohen, changing her life. They married in 2016, becoming
both his life partner and eventually his business partner. They both followed their entrepreneurial
spirit, growing and developing Cohen Construction into what it is today.
In her free time, she supports the local community through causes that are meaningful and
relevant. Amber supports charities benefitting kids, animals, and most notably, cancer research.
Amber is a loving wife to Dan, and they enjoy their beach time, boating, camping, and traveling.
They are the pet parents of Jack and Lilu.

highly skilled team of professionals as the CEO of Cohen Construction, working on commercial
and multi-family projects in all aspects of construction and renovation. They have established
lasting relationships with 30+ management companies and multiple developers across Florida,
delivering the highest quality services for these valued clients.
He prides himself on delivering the highest quality work at the best value to the client, no matter
the size or scope of the project. His attention to detail and vision of quality ensure that every
detail exceeds all clients’ expectations. His passion is all about construction and ensures that his
teams share his vision. He considers his team family and is driven to ensure their success.
Dan is a native and lifelong resident of Central Florida. He was raised in an environment that
instilled strong character values, impeccable integrity, and a tireless work ethic. He began his
professional career early as a teenager, working as a painter on commercial and multi-family
properties. He learned the business inside and out, putting in the time and hard work to find
success. Ultimately, he discovered his entrepreneurial spirit and struck out on his own, creating
his own painting company and building his own business.
As his business grew, so did his vision for the future and his ambition to succeed. He took on
every challenge and worked hard to build a reputation for quality and excellence. Dan ultimately
grew that business into a powerhouse, which is now Cohen Construction. In 2011, Dan’s life
changed when he met Amber, who became both his life and business partner and helped
strengthen the foundation of the company today. They married in 2016.

An avid surfer, Dan’s free time is spent on the beach. Dan also enjoys camping and traveling
